Environment & Location: The resort is beautifully maintained and located near the airport, surrounded by coral-rich lagoons. Guests appreciate the clean beach and stunning sea views, which offer vibrant coral reefs perfect for snorkeling.(based on 1 review)

Etwas sonderbare Kochgerichte! Recht geschmacklos zubereitet! Der Eindruck ist recht gemischt! Das Personal ist recht freundlich!

The Czech version of the review is below. Hello, I have stayed at the Swiss Touch Resort in Marsa Alam three times already. This time, I brought my girlfriend along for the first time. I had praised the resort to her beforehand, and we were confident it would be a great trip. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a huge disappointment. Arrival: We arrived at around 8:00 AM. At the reception, we were told that we wouldn’t get a room before 12:00 PM. They gave us the Wi-Fi password and told us to wait in the lobby. After an hour of waiting, I went back to reception and explained that we had been awake for almost 30 hours (we flew overnight) and that we simply couldn’t sit there any longer. The receptionist told us they would give us a better room than the one we had booked, and we could check in immediately. However, the room was only half-cleaned—there was someone else’s hair on the pillow, the toilet wouldn’t flush, and the shower was broken. Food: The bigger disappointment came at lunch. The food was terrible. My girlfriend survived the whole stay on fries with ketchup. The food was bland, with a very limited selection. I’m attaching photos. Occasionally, there was chicken or pork, but you couldn’t serve yourself— a chef would serve you two small slices, and even if you asked politely, the most you’d get was three slices. There was a wide selection of desserts, but most of them tasted very similar, just in different colors. The drinks usually arrived after we had already finished eating, even though there were barely any guests in the restaurant. The staff acted as if we were bothering them just by being there. Unless you keep tipping them constantly, they won’t even hold the door for you. From the second day onward, we were already dreading mealtimes and always left disappointed. We ended up snacking on chips we bought outside the resort. Honestly, if anyone writes anything positive about the food here, I’m sorry, but I don’t believe them. Room Service: If you don’t tip, you don’t get. I understand that tipping is a common practice in Egypt, but has it really become mandatory? How much extra do I need to pay in an ALL-INCLUSIVE resort just to have my room cleaned? From the first day, my girlfriend’s pillow was stained with sunscreen, and it stayed dirty throughout the entire stay. We were advised that instead of tipping with dollars, it’s a nice gesture to offer sweets from our home country. So we brought plenty of traditional sweets as gifts. The sweets disappeared, but the room was still only superficially cleaned. The next day, we left a $1 tip—same result. How much are we supposed to pay? Do these workers not get a salary? Are they fully dependent on tips? Resort & Environment: The resort itself looks well-maintained. I used the pool with the bar on the first day, but waited 30 minutes for a bartender to show up—nobody came. The next day, there was finally someone serving drinks, but don’t expect much. For example, the mojito didn’t taste

We were very satisfied with the stay. This hotel is nice, the beach is very beautifull, the area is beautifully maintained. The food is tasty and diverse. The animation program was truly high quality. The evening performance was really very good. Special thanks to Hussein Saleh. We are looking forward to next visit.

First of all the good things my room was ok even I shared it with a small gecko mini fridge was working and tv will be fine if satellite dish will be set properly unfortunately it was not and shaky screen and rattling noise was distributing. I was lucky my room was on first floor a I have a partly sea view. Air-conditioning fan works only on max fan speed so was noisy Sea was nice in a 30 -50 metre distance is a coral reef sand is a little sharp so water shoes are good idea. Beach has a compact sand and decent size. And last positive thing is staff most of them tray their best. And that is all from positives. And now why I give this hotel one of the worst reviews at all times. All hotels facilities are old hotel is in some form of reconstruction. Rooms first if you are not lucky you can finish in some really nasty room . All equipment is worn out gym machines handles look like dogs were trying to eat all padding material. Minigolf has a few extra holes and carpet surfaces together with rusty nails made game more interesting I will recommend avoiding this attraction if you don’t have an extreme sport insurance cover shed which used to be place where you get your clubs and ball offers shelter for spiders instead. Most of facilities are closed partly because isn’t season yet but mostly for your safety and that is better for you believe me. Currently last clients coming from Easter Europe like Poland sorry guys but you should want more for your money. Cleanness for 4 stars hotel even in Egypt should be better if you follow path by the sea to the left you will find ab excellent local dump . Now the best of the best drinks and food as hotel is all inclusive only you will get a perfect service in a case that McDonald is your going to restaurant numero uno and you are served alcohol till you don’t finish drunk like boomer . I was not expecting to be so disappointed not only quality is horrible ready meals from Tesco will defeat local cooks . I don’t speak about taste I mean that now is main season for strawberries or melons go to your supermarket and you will find shelf filled with local fruit here at the hotel you get old dry orange and apples as you can see from pictures which shows 7 bowls of fruit which are for a few hundred guests. Another pictures showing absolutely all dishes served for lunches and dinners we have one soup 3 times in week was pumpkin one. Typical sort of meals are chips, chicken and pasta some veggies ragout. I can tell you what you get for breakfast if you like cereals sorry you will hardly find some. Coffee provided by two decades old coffee machines is bad actually I have a complaint about my room as should have a set for coffee or tea ( simply cattle) my room miss it from the picture you can see wild range of bakery items maximum amount of small baskets with some buns was 12 sorry but 6 types of bakery products in 4 stars hotel theirs freshness is dispute and as a cherry on top of the cake small local robins fly in and

The reception staff were helpful, but the hotel’s facilities are extremely poor. It was a depressing experience, and I had to leave after just one night It was honestly the worst and most shocking stay I’ve ever had. Cleanliness is below zero The mattress smelled heavily of sweat, and I even found an insect on it. According to the reception, there are only three rooms in the entire hotel with a double bed, so I had to push two single beds together. The room door wouldn’t open properly, and I had to change the key card four times, but it still didn’t work. In the end, I had to enter and exit through the terrace, which was completely unacceptable. There are no hot drinks available at the pool or beach bars — only in the lobby. However, when I went to the lobby, the coffee machine was out of order and the water for tea was still cold. The restaurant is very small and crowded, and the staff serving drinks were sweating heavily, which shows how poor the ventilation is. Lastly The photos online are completely misleading and do not reflect the real condition of the hotel. I do not recommend this hotel at all

Swisstouches Resort & Spa Marsa Alam (ex. Sentido Oriental Dream) was chosen as a top hotel for super relaxation, beautiful snorkeling and peace. I enjoyed my vacation to the max. It is a smaller, one could say family hotel. The rooms are partly renovated. The water has lower pressure and temperature, but you can take a shower comfortably. The area is well maintained and the staff is nice. Well, except for one bartender - Lukas (beach bar), but this is everyone's opinion. I had no problem with the food, it was well seasoned, but like in every hotel it is repetitive. For me, it is a hotel for the undemanding. The animation team tries to entertain people, but respects when a person wants to relax, so for me it is great. Keep it up. There are beautiful lagoons in the sea... I definitely recommend water shoes. Snorkeling is beautiful... the coral is a little sadder, but there are hundreds of fish. I am demanding about this and I was thrilled here. If you're afraid of great depths... then there's no danger here
